In today's society, English has become a universal language, also known as the international language. Without English proficiency, it is as if a disability. It is impossible to stand in this competitive society. Many parents may also know the importance of English, but they are very stressed because children cannot master English effectively. Even after finding lots of extra classes for their children, their children only grew a sense of hate and rejection towards English. Has the parents seriously thought about the problems? In actual fact, learning and mastering English is not that difficult. The reason why children can't master English is probably because they simply haven’t done the four elements: “Listening, speaking, reading, and writing!”

"Listening, speaking, reading and writing" is the most essential element in learning a language. First, parents need to know that listening and reading are inputs; speaking and writing are outputs. For example, when a child is recently born, it is a blank canvas and parents need to fill it with different colours. The so-called input is the same reason. When children are born, they simply cannot speak. How do parents train their children to speak? That's right! Parents will always talk to their children in hopes that they pick up some of the words. What is the child doing when parents are talking? It is of course "listening".

With parental language input, children will of course try to imitate it. This is why deaf people can't speak. Because they hear at all. So "hearing" is very important! If children do not always “listen” to English, how can they “speak” English? With "listening" and "speaking" as input and output, now we can learn to understand "read" and "write".

Reading is the highlight of learning English and it is also an important aspect of the use of English. By reading a lot, children can build their own vocabulary. The more you read, the stronger your children's vocabulary. In addition, children can learn English grammar by reading and knowing how they should be arranged in order to make correct sentences. Therefore, children who likes to read often have good writing skills, that is, the ability to write stories with clear logic and attractive expression.

Based on the above information, do parents have some clues? Learning anything at all needs to be gradual, and you can't skip any one step. In addition, parents must also clearly understand that the output level is determined by the amount of input. If there is no input, no matter how we practice the output, there would be no effect.
